12 Dec

Christmas traditions really kicked into high gear last night with our annual trip to Rosie’s and the lights!! 🙂 All day while I gazelled and cleaned and painted cabinet doors at nap time and watched the kids I was dreaming of my italian feast. After work I ran 3 miles at the gym in 30:01 and came home to change. Every year we head to Marion, IN to eat cheap but somehow delicious italian food at a chintzy little place called Rosie’s.

Tradition goes that Mom gets lasagna with a meatball and Dad gets veal parmesan with spaghetti and I share small portions of both of theirs! The perfect way to get all the tastes I love without eating too much. 🙂 It was as delicious as always. Every year we show up I live in fear of it being closed down for good but as we said last night, “It is not this year!!” (Props if you catch the LOTR reference…) After dinner we drove through Marion’s light display. It didn’t start where it usually did and they were all crammed into the park so there must have been a reason for that but the real fun is eating tiny candy canes and singing the “12 Days of Christmas” as impossibly fast as we can when we drive by day’s representations. We always manage to do it. 🙂 I took a blurry photo-

Cool huh? Haha And we drove home listening to Christmas music and amusing ourselves with the silliest games of “would you rather”. Some of us were so amused that pants were almost peed… It was a great night. 🙂
