Saturday continued on in fun fashion! Late afternoon I went to Tonne with Mom for the first time in aaaages and we sat out on the patio sharing a bottle of chambourcin. It was a beautiful day for it and can you believe that I didn’t snap one single picture? Dad came out to join us for a glass at the end and then the 3 of us went to dinner.

We headed downtown to Savages where I had an incredibly awesome avocado deli wrap and some seasonal pumpkin beer! That craft beer drinker in me loved it. 🙂 Then Dad and I played quite a long game of pool…

As Mom said, we sure got our money’s worth! Haha He ended up winning but only by 1 ball, I did much better than he expected! We went back to their house and were met there by Zach and proceeded to positively decimate them in a game of Nerts. 🙂 It was quite fun! Then Zach and I made a stop by our friend Andre’s birthday party before heading home and snuggling up with a movie- it was such a busy day!

Sunday brought sunny skies and a good church service. After church Zach had to get some soccer stuff done and I went to the library book sale with Mom. Came home with a stuffed paper bag full of books for only $2!! SO excited to start reading them! I love books so much. 🙂 When I got home Zach whisked me off on a secret date. We went to Anderson to Mounds State Park and hiked for the next 2 hours!

It was a gorgeous day and we had so much fun exploring around.

We also had a lot of fun goofing off in the visitor’s center…

We’re never too old to be silly. 🙂 I whooped on Zach in a game of checkers as well.

After our active day we went for Mexican! There is a pretty good Mexican place in Anderson and while it’s no Puerta, it still tasted great. As if we hadn’t eaten enough chips, he took me to a new ice cream place in Anderson next. It’s called Diggidy’s and is actually owned by one of his soccer player’s parents! It is a self-serve ice cream/toppings place and is absolutely insane. They have over 250 toppings. The topping bar that is buffet style has all the goodies like cookie dough/brownie pieces/cheesecake pieces/reese cups etc. Then there is a whole candy wall that looks like you are in a candy store! Every candy imaginable! They had a whole section just for every color of M&M’s!!! It was a kid’s paradise. We weren’t very hungry so we just got a small amount to share but I definitely need to go back and bring my appetite! 🙂

When we got home we went to Amazing Joe’s with our friends Ryan and Alysha for a margarita and thus ended another sensational weekend!
