A LITTLE RAIN NEVER HURT ANYBODY

9 May

Wednesday Evening

Well the weather didn’t look exactly how I wanted it to for this evening’s activity- sudden huge dark clouds, a quick rainstorm and even some thunder! Did that stop us? No. 🙂 Now if it would have been an all-out storm or we deemed it dangerous we would have stayed inside but by the time we were ready to go it had pretty much subsided. So what did we do? Walked/jogged to Mom and Dad’s! We were having dinner over there this evening and I wanted to be outside and get some movement and also see how long it would take. We parked down in a Cardinal Greenway parking lot right by our house and then mostly walked with a little jogging the 38 minutes to Mom and Dad’s. The Greenway runs really close to their house so we just took it as far as we could and then cut through their neighborhood. It was a lot of fun! It was 2.19 miles and I burned 247 calories. A nice workout on the way to dinner! We could totally bike there in even less time, perhaps next time? 🙂

Mom made us a Chinese feast for dinner and you get one photo because I used Zach’s phone. Didn’t want to jog with my bulky Canon!

Mmmm….egg drop soup, an egg roll and chinese lemon chicken + veggies over rice. It was great and filling! As always, thanks for feeding us Mom! Perhaps we’ll feed you soon…say, Saturday? 🙂 Mom and Dad drove us back to our car and now we’re watching HIMYM. Zach’s loving it!

409.5 miles.
