Thursday Morning

Please remind me that I don’t like red apples in my oatmeal nearly as well as green the next time I want to make cinnamon apple oats…


Other than that little, minor detail I loved breakfast! The thing with the red apple is that it’s not bad, per say, it’s just a little softer to begin with and gets even mushier in the hot oats and I like my apples crisp.

Started with the normal oats, water, unsweetened almond milk and salt ratio (minus the banana). Once cooked I added half a diced apple (dicing made oh-so-simple thanks to the apple master once again!):


Along with cinnamon, vanilla, apple pie spices, a tsp of PB and a tsp. of brown sugar. Normally the banana provides enough residual sugar that I don’t need an outside source but the bowl of apple oats always does! Well, for me anyway.

Baby spoon of PB on the side and it fulfilled my oatmeal craving!




Did 30 minutes on the gazelle. Thirty sore minutes. I feel as though I have been living in a perpetual state of soreness this week. Zach and I even went to Mom and Dad’s and got in the hot tub last night and I am still sore all over. I’m going to forego an afternoon workout today to get a little rest so I am strong to run sprints tonight! One and a half more work days…
